On This Day in Christian History 365 Amazing and Inspiring Stories about Saints, Martyrs and Heroes

Posted on: November 3, 2010

i request this book from booksneeze, because i feel i myself still not well equipped with Christian history and i would love to know more about other saint, martyr that change the Christianity. this book is in daily devotional format where there is 365 story to last a year.

the story is all inspiring because you will realize that GOD doesn’t use only perfect people as HIS hand in preaching HIS word, but HE is using any ordinary person who is willing to work for HIM. the story of their hardship and their faith in GOD even though they gone through difficult time is truly inspiring. each daily devotional also end with a bible verse that will surely help a new Christian like me to know bible verse better.

this book is highly recommended for all believer and all that gone through difficult time. the story will inspire you to keep believing and hold to the promise of GOD. the only problem is, i usually doesn’t stop at one daily devotional. i can’t stop turning page to read more. its will be good for reread when i am needing some spiritual boost! i give this book 5 out of 5star.

this book is gratefully received from Thomas Nelson Publisher as part of their booksneeze blogger program. i am not required to write positive review and therefore, the review is 100% opinion of my own.

i’m not a christianity believer, but i do find this book interesting.. just like to read the stories and history for the sake of knowing, like how i fancy the chinese history too.. good choice!! 🙂

yeah, bcoz we often learn thing from history. we can’t live long enough to make all the mistake and learn from it, so we can learn from other mistake. 🙂

I have tried to request but they only allow me to review 2 particular books, hrm… mayb I should try to contact them!
